Each fiscal year, NCI is required to prepare for the President and Congress its best professional judgment on the optimum funding needed to make the most rapid progress against cancer. My team was responsible for the public-facing website that communicated the funding needed to advance research in emerging areas.
This website used to be hosted outside of the Cancer.gov platform, making it more difficult for users to find essential information and associate it with NCI. We brought it on the enterprise platform in 2022 with new page templates I designed (below) which are still used today. Additionally, I created print materials, social media assets, and infographics (below) for this campaign. The website can be viewed at https://www.cancer.gov/research/annual-plan.
