I created and designed the concept for the Cancer Moonshot campaign, President Joe Biden’s initiative to accelerate cancer research by increasing enrollment in cancer clinical trials. The goal of the campaign was to make a decade’s worth of progress in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in just five years.
Without a central location to gather ideas from some of the best scientists in the world, achieving the Cancer Moonshot goal would be nearly impossible. The work I did for the campaign included designing a responsive concept for the crowdsourcing site, IdeaScale; logo production, communication collateral for Cancer.gov, Medium.com, NCI social media, video, and email assets. As part of this initiative, I designed the Blue Ribbon Panel Report which outlined 10 transformative research recommendations from a panel of presidentially-appointed scientific experts.
